Um Boeing 747-400 da Virgin, efectuou uma aterragem de emergência em Gatwick Londres, logo após 3 horas da  descolagem o piloto ter verificado uma anomalia no trem de aterragem.
Este incidente ocorreu no dia 29 de Dezembro de 2014, a bordo estavam 447 passageiros e 15 tripulantes e o destino do voo nº  VS043 Virgin era Las Vegas.
